In 1980, Ilse Prévot dreamt of combining the best wild off-piste descents the Alps had to offer. Thus, with the help of fellow Tarentaise mountain guides, the first "ski safari" was born.

Powder skiing on the wild mountain side and the opportunity to discover all the cultural aspects of each valley, is what has seduced skiers world-wide since the safari’s debut.
